Is it possible to have a koi a small one, live in a fish bowl and if so how long will it live?
I have never had a koi fish before but always wanted one, is it better kept in a tank or a fish bowl right now I have a fish bowl but a friend of mine may be giving me his fish tank.
ok so the bowl is out of the question. Alright I guess I will have to wait after all until someday I can afford to have my own pond 
Koi fish cannot live in a bowl. They grow way too large for a bowl. They are bred to live outdoors in a pond. Besides, your experiment would be cruel to the animal.
