Is anyone else sick of all the Jackie Robinson stuff?
Every team had to retire #42, MLB has Jackie Robinson Day, Monuments and plaques and dedications in his name are everywhere. And now Tori Hunter is complaining because last year all the Houston Astros wore #42 in his honor and there were no blacks on team. I’m sick of it already. Enough with Jackie Robinson!!!
I agree with you, I just read the article. It seems something fishy like ever since Obama brought up the speech, throw his white grandmother under the bus. Everywhere I see or read, if we as white don’t have enough blacks in the work places or in the entertainment or in Sports and everywhere, then we are bad people or racists in the sense. Not true most of time. We gave the blacks more in the sports world, since then, I see very a little of whites in basketball world. I am tired of it. It looks like Hunter believed like we are throwing the blacks under rugs deliberately with Houston Astros. Everything was fine last year, I wonder why now!
