Any Information on Glen Powell, paints seascapes in oil?
Seeking any information on Glen Powell, he does seascapes on canvas in oil.At least 3 for sure. All I can find on him are two seascapes being auctioned off on different sites. No biography, not even picture titles. Anyone know of him or any resources? I’ve gone through Alot of art sites, google images is the only place that acknowledges his work.
Unfortunately I think this painting was sold thru the starving artists sales that you see advertised on tv having sales at the local hotels for a very cheap price. These are apparently machine made prints from asian sweat shops and the use western names for artist. Check the link provided for more details. ( http://www.drloriv.com/lectures/starving… )
I bought one about 13 years ago in Charlotte when I was in college at one of those sales and have a similar painting – a 3x 4ft seascape by Glen Powell. I think I paid around $25. I checked the one on sale on e bay and it looks very similar to the one I have
